What brought you to CrossFit? I have always tried to stay in shape either by mountain biking, hiking, etc. I was doing Insanity before Crossfit opened and was looking for another challenge. A dear friend from Grad School started a Crossfit in Detroit several years ago so I was aware and intrigued of the concept.

What was your first impression? How has that changed? I have never liked lifting weights so I guess I was intimidated at first. As my technique and flexibility have improved (still have a long way to go) I have become more comfortable with the lifting side.

What are you working on now? Getting to the box 3 days a week! With a business and 3 kids that is the goal (4 days when there is no soccer or basketball games on Saturdays). Crossfit is a means to stay in shape. I want to be able to keep up with my kids as long as I can.

What was your greatest achievement? Just being able to keep up with the WOD’s is a achievement for me. Again, not being the lifting type the ability to get stronger and use the techniques during a WOD is a success for me.
- What’s your favorite CrossFit 2311 memory? Completing the 100 KBS and 100 Burpess the second time around (or maybe it was the 3rd) was a great accomplishment for me.
