Before coming to CrossFit 2311 I used to work out in a fitness center doing basic weight lifting routines. I got too tired of doing the same movements everytime I hit the gym so Crossfit appealed to me. It is easier to stay motivated when you rarely do the same workout twice.

My first impression of CrossFit in general was that it was unlike any workout routine I had tried before. My first impression of 2311 was that it was a clean kept facility, friendly patrons, and coaches that knew what they were doing while having my overall health in mind. Eric being a PT appealed to me as well(understanding of the human body’s natural movements, etc.)

My biggest accomplishments have been bench pressing my own body weight for the first time, as well as being able to climb the rope!

Right now I am working on getting back to a level of performance where I was at before me and my wife took time away after our daughter was born.

My favorite memories at CrossFit 2311 are doing partner WODs with my wife and other friends, benefit/charity WODs with the box, and competing in local competitions.
